I am an avid animal lover with two rescue pit mixes. I know firsthand how hard it can be to travel when you've got fur babies and I want to help out other pet parents the way others have helped me. You can rest (and travel) easy knowing that I will love on and play with and care for your children the way I do with my own, and all in the comfort of your own home (because it's confusing enough when our moms and dads go away let alone drop us off at some stranger's house!) Let me make it easier for you to get on out there and smell the roses! My own two dogs are 14 and five years old. I volunteer with BullyPaws of Fredericksburg helping to place pibbles in loving furever homes and have a history of helping turtles cross the street (including a full grown snapping turtle once...not fun) and once rescued a box of racoon babies found on the side of the road. If it's an animal in need, I am always the right person for the job! Why I love pet sitting I've been a HUGE animal lover for as long as I can remember. We have always had dogs and cats in my extended family (not always in our immediate family due to my dad's work and travel requirements) and I have yet to meet a dog/cat/furry beast I haven't absolutely loved from the start. I also insist that all dogs are puppies, no matter what their age, and all cats are kitties! My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication as long as I receive proper instruction. I have previous pet-sitting experiences where I've had to "hide" prescription pills in peanut butter and other delicious sneaky treats. I've also had experience administering eye drops as my special baby girl was kind enough to get puppy pink eye shortly after we rescued her.
