Pet care experience
I am a fourth year pre-vet college student looking into becoming a companion animal veterinarian and who loves to create relationships with animals. I worked as an intern at the Bressi Ranch Pet Hospital every summer from 2012-14 which includes training in order to handle and care for the animals properly. As an intern, I was taught CPR and the basics of First Aid. During my free time in college, I have volunteered at the Woods Humane Society in San Luis Obispo and at the Cal Poly Cat Shelter. During my school breaks in the year 2015-17, I have worked at "Just Four Paws" which is a professional pet sitting service and am currently working as a Kennel Technician at the Mohnacky Animal Hospital in Carlsbad.

Chantelle is just excellent, incredibly professional and organized. She showed up on time both for our meet-and-greet and for the drop-in visit, asked all the right questions (that made it clear she really cares about animals), and even repeated everything back to me after I gave her a ton of detailed instructions! I didn't ask her to repeat everything back--I think she just knew it'd give me peace of mind. She's smart, and I'd trust her with my 3 kitties (1 of whom is diabetic and requires insulin injections every 12 hours) any day.
Chantelle has been a great friend of mine and also a great pet sitter for my German Shepherd, Maku and my Ragdoll cat, Burmey. She went above and beyond when I was gone for a week. She even took pictures and messaged me updates daily. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter because she is a very dependable and responsible individual.
