Pet care experience
For my 4th birthday, my present was a kitten and that's where I began my love for animals! I've had quite a few house pets ranging from lizards to cats to dogs. I'm experienced in older and younger animals - I've had to put down my first cat this past year as she was 15 y/o, I got my first dog as a puppy when I was 16 y/o, and my family back home just got a kitten this past 2020 winter. I also have ridden horses since 3rd grade and have worked at multiple horse barns so I also have large animal experience as well! In addition to my own animals, I have also house sat my neighbor and friends' pets throughout the years!

I live in a house near UK's hospital (Chandler & Children's Hospital). I have a medium gravel/grass backyard that is partially fenced in. I am by Elizabeth park, and my favorite, the Arboretum! I would LOVE to take your dog to the Arboretum and walk them around. Otherwise if your dog isn't comfortable with car rides or what not I would also enjoy just walking them around the area over here - there are plenty of sidewalks and I am near to Elizabeth Park. I also have three other roommates that will be able to provide your pet some love when I am away - but they understand how seriously I take Rover so they will only be giving your pet love while I will be the one walking, feeding, etc. My house also has a sunroom in the back that has no furniture so while I am away, I plan to gate the sunroom area so your pet still has plenty of room to play or relax without exploring my whole house when I am gone.

Availability
I am currently in the Doctorate of Pharmacy program at University of Kentucky so I am a full-time student but I do not have a job so I can focus on my studies - so I am hoping to make some money on the side via Rover.com! My house is a 5 minute walk from the College of Pharmacy so if your pet is staying at my place I am always very close and never gone for more than 2 hours! I primarily study at home so besides class, I am always at home! My class schedule varies each day M-F, but I don't have any classes on the weekends or on Tuesday. Other than that, I am normally in class in the afternoon for about 4 hours and always have a break in between. Wednesday's are the one exception and my busy day, I am in class from 9 am to 5 pm with a break at noon for two hours - again if your pet is at my house, it's very easy for me to stop by during the day to let them outside or to keep company! All in all, I'm very flexible and my only time commitment is class!
