Pet care experience
First- I love dogs (and who doesn't), but I also have over 12 years of experience, including working at a sanctuary with dogs in California, and volunteering at area shelters in our area. I also have been fostering dogs from our area shelters for the past 3 years. I recently became a certified training partner through Karen Pryor Academy (clicker training, everyone!), which means I approach training with a focus on fun and reward. I've signed up on Rover.com for dog sitting and dog walking because it seems like a great way to supplement my income, with something that I both love and enjoy: dogs. I have a clean, relaxed home and am set up for easy enjoyment, plus I work from home whenever possible.

Chantal loves dogs. She has her own dogs and has fostered half a dozen others in the time that I've known her. Chantal even took care of my 13 year old dog for several months when the Michigan winters were proving to be difficult for and we thought the relatively mild Virginia winters would suit her better. She's experienced with all types of dog personalities and temperaments and does an amazing job of caring for them and making sure that they're happy and comfortable. My dogs are the most important things in my life, so there's no higher recommendation that I can give than to say that I trust them with her without any question. If you need a dog sitter, you can't go wrong with her.
Chantal is one of the kindest people I know! Her love and knowledge of animals is why she makes an amazing pet sitter. Chantal understands dogs needs and her knowledge of dog's behavior enable her to manage even a rowdy crew. She quickly won the love and adoration of my pack which is not an easy feat. One of our rescues is very insecure and she has made her at ease when she watches her! She is even welcomed into our home with licks -and our girl only welcomes family with licks and affection. I know how important all animals are to Chantal and you can rest easy if she is watching your family member. They will have the best of care and lots of love while you are away! I highly recommend her as a loving dog caregiver!
