I feel as though I've been surrounded by animals my entire life. From petsitting/dog walking as a pre-teen, to fully pursuing my career as a veterinarian in my twenties (now). I have a few years of experience working in the veterinary field and I am fully committed to improving the longevity of any animal I come across. Even if that means I get to give extra belly rubs !

My partner and I absolutely loved Chantae as our pet sitter! She is warm, professional, and very thorough! Our two cats were well taken care of, we especially appreciated the photo updates and the quick response time. Her experience as a vet is also a bonus :) Definitely will be rebooking! I met Chantae a little over a year ago and she shared A LOT of general information about pets, (since I bombarded her with questions once I found out she's a vet tech) and she is very passionate when she speaks. She helps me out from time to time when I take my weekend mini-vacations and I would definitely recommend her to anyone here.
Chantae has always had a strong will to care for animals. She has been pet sitting for me since she was 17! In my years getting to know her she's shown compassion towards all animals and always has a trick up her sleeve. Sometimes the trick was an actual treat.

I have cared for both my dog and cat since they were young. I don't allow my dog off leash, although she is trained to be without it if need be. I have experience with muzzle training where, overtime, I have cut out the habit of owner's dogs eating random things on the street during our walks. To where said dogs did not need a muzzle anymore for walks. I also specialize in animal behavior so when I notice something is off, I can assess what needs to be done and insure safety and trust in any and every environment.

The temperament of the dog is extremely important, especially how they act around new people and environments. If there is any medical issues that need to be attended to or looked out for is also important for me to know
A typical day
I like to explore nature (something me and dogs have in common) so a park with lots of trees would be the first preference or exercise. I also love to relax with the dog and pick up on their personality to see what types of games and toys they like to play/play with

I currently work Mon-Fri as a veterinary technician. . Luckily I get the weekends off and I am willing to work around the hours that are most beneficial for the client and their furry friend.
