I have enjoyed animals around me, specifically dogs and cats, since the day I was born. Since then, I have been an animal lover. I love little dogs, specifically. I actually started taking care of animals when I was 7. Neighbors would ask me to take care of anything from lizards to bunnies. I've walked dogs, bathed them, fed them, and made their homes in my home. I treat every dog fairly. In our home, we have 2 dogs, which are Frenchies (love Frenchies). They are 4 and 5 years old respectively. Additionally, we have 2 cats, an exotic and American shorthair, as well as a caged hamster. My dogs just love to play with new friends, and our very friendly cats are so used to dogs, they don't mind new animals coming into the household. We have a great setup in our home. Dogs do not need to be crate-trained. My family of three share a two-story home with all tile or wood laminate floors everywhere - no carpet- so accidents are no problem to clean up. Our downstairs area is quite large, so we usually gate the staircase off to prevent injuries. We have two large patches of artificial grass in the backyard for frequent potty breaks; along with tiles shaded by our balcony, dog beds, and a sturdy, iron 5-foot fence surrounding a pool. I take my dogs out for potty breaks at least every two hours, so yours will get the same treatment. Outdoors we can see the dogs through our 5 large windows. We set Alexa to 5 minutes so we never forget to bring them in, sometimes even less time for the very hot or cold days. This is very important as we often live in a very hot climate. Our household consists of my dog-loving husband and other dog and cat-lover, my 13-year-old son. I am currently a homemaker and have been since before my son was born, so I am home all hours of the day. I don’t require crate-trained dogs; however, my dogs are crate trained. We have many dog fences if needed, for safety reasons, and as I know, some dogs don’t get along or they just need their own territory to stay in for them to feel comfortable. If needed, I am trained to give dogs medication. This will require prior discussion and possibly a small additional fee. . Whatever is best for your dog(s), I will do my best to achieve it. I am open to a meet & greet before the day of your drop-off, in order for you to see my home setup, or we can meet in a local park. This way we both feel comfortable before boarding or doggy daycare begins. Again, we love dogs but wish only to watch dogs under 40-pounds, unless I agree to a larger dog after we discuss the special circumstances. For instance, I have watched a very mild 55-pound dog with no problems. Your dog will be sure to get a lot of attention in our home full of animal lovers!
