Hi, my name is Chanet and I started Rover after moving away from my two loving dogs (a Frenchie and a Pug) who I missed dearly. I needed some dog love around me so I started Rover! Even after moving back to Las Vegas, I still enjoy taking care of new furry friends, as my traveling job does not allow me to have a dog of my own. So for now, I get my fill caring for yours! I am great with looking after dogs and taking care of them, as I was a dogsitter from 11-17. I have cared for dogs my entire life and worked with them on training skills, feeding them healthy treats, and getting them out of the house. I believe that dogs are more than just a pet, but a family member and a companion. They need attention, socialization, and love just as much as a person would. Being away from canine companionship was a struggle so, it will also be my personal mission to care for and love your pet. And I welcome all their kisses, play dates, doggy slobbers, and snuggles!

Chanet went above and beyond for our dog. She spoiled her with hikes, swimming, and even took her to farmers markets. She was extremely attentive and communicated with us regularly. It was wonderful to be away and know our baby was being well loved and cared for. Thank you!!!!

Chanet went above and beyond when taking care of my dog! She is very trustworthy, sweet, caring, and a wonderful dog sitter! She sent tons of updates and photos to me and even took my dog swimming while capturing the best videos of my dog (even better than any of the ones I’ve taken of her lol). Chanet was the first person I’ve used from this app and honestly, she will be the last (hoping that she stays around for a while too!) She’s extremely sweet, personable and took care of my dog like her own. I’d highly recommend her to anyone! She exceeded any and all expectations. I’m thankful we connected!

Dogs are allowed in furniture and the bed! Lots of snuggles and hanging out. I have a patio with fake grass and dog pads for easy potty breaks and a community with grass areas / doggy park for them to go outside.

Information Chanet S. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know how social your dog is (i.e. if they're good with other dogs/ good with people/ good in social settings). I wouldn't want to take your dog to a cafe if they aren't used to sitting and relaxing with a lot of people, or take them to a dog park if they are not social. I would also like to know if your dog is allowed on furniture or has accidents in the house (this would not make me want to watch your dog less, but just to be more cautious of their independence around the house).
A typical day
I live 5 minutes from a dog park and across the street from a grassy area. Your dog will enjoy nice neighborhood walks, dog parks, playing in the grass, going out to dog-friendly places, walk/runs (for both of us), healthy treats, training for new tricks, and a loving person. (All within approval of owners.)

I work remotely at home for the most part, unless I have to visit a project site. Can be home regularly to let them out for potty breaks.
