Hi! My first name is Chandra but everyone who knows me calls me Nikki (nickname for my middle name). I have been taking care of animals of various kinds for as long as I can remember. I would joke in high school that I would be the crazy cat lady because I alway preferred animals to people (but don’t worry, my customer service skills are pretty good too!). I have been called to pet sit on many occasions for friends and family and I’ve always enjoyed doing it. I’m a certified pet groomer and owner of 2 pups and 2 cats. Before moving to TN from MD, I raised a small hobby farm of goats, chickens, turkeys and peafowl. Before moving I was also taking a veterinary assistance course at my local community college. I volunteered at my local cat shelter and fostered many kittens until they found their forever homes. Your pets will be showered with the same amount of love that I give my own furry family members. **new update: after an unfortunate incident involving a dog fight, I have changed my profile to only accepting one family at a time but it’s only for large breed dogs. If you have a small breed and/or puppy and my schedule says I am full, you are welcome to reach out and see if your little one will fit in with who is currently boarding❤️❤️❤️** We live on 6 acres, surrounded mostly by woods. I took a break from pet sitting for a little bit so that I could remodel a portion of my garage into a dog sitting room and I added a large fenced in area to keep my furry guests safe. I have pictures of the space in my photo gallery. Pets will be provided with a crate, pillow, blanket, food/water bowls and toys to play with. Just bring their own food and anything else they need that’s not in my list. The Dog Room is climate controlled, has a locking door, and a security camera. The fenced in area also has a covered concrete porch, to provide a nice cool off area when playing outside. Pets will get plenty of potty breaks and outside play time. typically, they are only crated at night and if my eyes are not on them ( for example I have a doctors appointment or I’m going inside to make lunch for the kiddos). Daycare hours are between 7am and 8pm. If you need to drop off early please contact me and we will see what we can do. After 8pm it will be considered a boarding situation. I’m INCREDIBLY easy to work with so if something comes up that is out of your control and you are going to be late just reach out and let me know. Otherwise, any daycare request past 8 pm will be modified to overnight boarding.

I do have my own pets as well as children and I may have other furry guests staying with me. Please let me know ahead of time if your furbaby is friendly with others. Please let me know if they have a tendency to dig out of fenced in areas or can jump over a 5ft fence. Also any requirements that require specific times, for example Fido HAS to have his injection at exactly 12:01 pm every day. I’m usually able to handle any such needs, but a heads up just in case I have something else going on at that specific time would be extremely helpful!
A typical day
I have a big yard and plenty of toys for pups of all ages! We will go on walks around our 6 acres, have play time in the large fenced in yard and play in a some small pools and a mister on hot days. I do not have a strict schedule, I treat all guests as if they were my own family pets. Which is just a lot of play, pets and snuggles. If you have a routine you would like me to follow that is no problem at all! You’ll just need to provide it for me ☺️

I’m currently a full time student and mom of 4 (all school-ages). With my classes being online, I’m home all day each day of the week (minus some errand here and there of course). I’m available Monday- Sunday on most occasions.
