Dogs Over 1 Year Old
Chandra is such an awesome dog sitter! She is so passionate about dogs, and it shows when she cares for your pup. My dog Ollie feels so comfortable around Chandra and she always sends the best photos/videos when they are at the dog park. I would highly recommend Chandra to dog sit anyone's dog and will definitely be rebooking with her!
Rogue loved her stay with Chandra and was excited to see her every day. Chandra did a great job working with Rogue on her leash walking through the city.
Excellent sitter! I’d leave my pup with her any time
Farm girl competence in the city!
Hello & welcome to my profile!
My home is a loving, cozy place that two little rescue fur babes, Peggy and Eve of the feline species, call home! Originally a farm girl from Western Canada I have grown up with dogs my whole life & wish I were able to have my own but it's not the right time in my life! So. I'm hoping to channel all that love to your little one!
What Chandra would like to know about your dog
Feline Friends: Please do let me know how your dog is with cats! Peggy and Eve are both used to having dogs around and can often be found sneaking a cuddle here and there.
Activities/Walks: Personally, I do a daily 'after work' evening jog through Queens Park and UofT campus as the city winds down. I am always very happy to have a fur friend join me! But the cats aren't up for it.... weird.... hahaha :p -- Of course if your dog prefers walks I am happy to do a slower pace, whatever is best for them so please let me know.
When I do boardings, usually we head over to Allan Gardens and the off-leash dog park there as it's quite lovely in the morning and there are individual spaces for both small and large dogs. So please let me know whether your dog enjoys socializing with other dogs at dog parks or playing fetch if I bring along a ball for them.
Furniture: My cats are allowed on the furniture and so your dog is more than welcome as well. That includes the bed for night time and morning cuddles. However, I understand that your house rules may be different and that your dog might be trained to avoid this behaviour. So please let me know, I don't encourage any bad habits!
Food: Personally I am not one to feed dogs "people food" besides what may be specially made for them, as their food. I will not be feeding off of my plate, or from the dinner table. Begging can be cute I get it..... with those sad puppy eyes and all... but it won't be working on me. haha
Daily Routines/Habits: Following your dogs daily routine as best I can here in my home as you do in yours is one of the best things I can do to make your dog feel grounded, comfortable and supported. Please feel free to let me know what an average day looks like for them, and any weird quirks that make them happy so I can be sure they feel right at home!
