Pet care experience
I absolutely love dogs. Most of the time in fact, I like animals more than humans! I have had and taken care of many dogs and therefore have knowledge of their individual needs depending on their lifestyle. I am an active person, but activities like walking, running, and hiking are better with a furry companion! I have experience with older dogs, so I feel comfortable administering oral medication as well as injections. So that's not a problem for me. I love all kinds of animals and I have experience with many of them including cats, dogs, fish, chickens, guinea pigs, goats and birds. I have always been an animal person and love being surrounded by them. You can enjoy your time knowing that your dog will be very well taken care of and loved.

We were very pleased with Chancee’s attentive, loving care of our 3 Bernese Mountain Dogs recently. Our dogs thrived under her care and we were happy to have Chancee stay nights to babysit our pack in our home. I feel grateful that she was available for our 35th wedding anniversary trip out of state. She’s a gem!

A typical day
I can go by your preferences. In Colorado, I liked to take my dogs to a nearby dog park at least three times a week. Now that I’m in Michigan for work, I can do walks, parks, or just have them stay on your home and do lots of play-time! What ever you feel most comfortable with!

Availability
I am a medical student in my last year of school. I have rotations through a hospital, and therefore my schedule changes month to month. February I work approximately 9a-5p and March I work approximately 7a-4p. At this point, I’m waiting to see where I match before taking on any reservations for July 2024 and on. (I will know by March if I’m staying in the area or not and will update my profile then!)
