Pet care experience
Alongside my biology degree, I have animal care experience with species including that of the zoo, wildlife rehab, and now your very own pets! At home I have 2 ferrets, 2 exotic lizards, and a Pac-Man frog with additional animal care/medication knowledge on how to care for any of the small or large animals you may have! Chae is great! She is loving, kind, and patient. A perfect person to work with pets & even with other wildlife. She connects almost instantly witch helps build trust with them and that builds trust with me! I would gladly recommend her to anyone!
Chae has been part of our family for 2 years now! I trust her with my fur babies everytime I travel out of town. She is flexible, reliable, and great with my more anxious dog as well!
Chae is just wonderful with pets! She has dogsat for me for a couple years and is super friendly and animals love her. It is nice to know that she has professional experience as a vet assistant. She also had great experience getting my dog to listen while on walks!

I am available for drop in visits or playtimes, walks, daycare (within your home) , overnights (within your home), or pet sitting small animals/birds/reptiles as I live in a one bedroom apartment not equipped for larger dogs or cats (and I have rodents of my own!). Personally in my home my ferrets are mostly free roam and can choose what they’d like to do. I spend most of my days playing with my pets and sourcing new rocks for the reptile enclosures. My animals always have access to food and water and I make sure to animal proof anything they shouldn’t be getting into. Staying attentive to your pets and their needs can make the world of difference when preventing harmful accidents!!

A typical day
I like to stimulate animals physically and mentally by using enrichment techniques such as smell, taste, and sensory playtime or while walking. I personally like to take walks through wooded areas where we have open range to explore their surroundings while also promoting less dog/dog interactions so no one gets worked up or aggressive.

I recently just moved to Peoria and work at 2 animal emergency clinics as a veterinary tech and assistant. As of right now my schedule is mainly open for any weekdays 6am-5pm, while weekend hours vary depending on my work schedule. These openings may become subject to changes in the future as my work schedule shifts in the coming weeks/months.
