Hello! I'm 30-something professional in DC and absolutely love dogs! I live in a home in Shaw/Logan and share the space with both my two-legged partner (Dariel) and our four-legged “babydog” (Finn). We’re both dog-lovers and understand that each animal has a unique personality and unique needs. Small or large, pup or senior, I'll do my best to cater to each pet independently. I'm also a "certified" puppy snuggler and running buddy. I've got 25+ years with four-legged friends of my own, and I'll be sure treat yours as I would my very own. I have cared for many a dog of many sizes, ages, and personalities so, chances are, I'll be comfortable looking after your dog. Between Dariel and myself, one of us almost always home to keep your pet company. My availability is flexible, though my preference would be to host or drop-in. If hosting, I would ask that your pet be well-mannered, house trained, and well-socialized with other people and animals. My goal is to provide the best of services to you and the best of experiences for your pet. Whether your four-legged friend needs a vacation and some R&R or to burn off some energy, I look forward to either :)

Chad did a fantastic job. He was kind and friendly, very thoughtful and caring of my pup, super responsive, and went out of his way to accommodate my travel schedule with pick-up and drop-off. My pup had a great time staying with him, and I knew she was in good hands. I highly recommend him and hope to work with him again soon!
Chad was fantastic! I had a very last minute boarding request and he responded so quickly! He seems to really love dogs and was so personable. I really appreciated the photos and updates he provided while we were gone. Especially the cute picture of our dog meeting his little dog. Daisy, seemed to love being with him! Plus he took her for long walks and hung out at the park. I will definitely be looking to have Chad watch Daisy again!
Chad is one of the best sitters I've worked with. Easy to communicate with, very professional, and has a clear love for dogs. Hallie immediately took to him and left me at ease while I was away. He'll be the first sitter I reach out to when I'm out of town going forward.

A typical day
If your pup is in need of some time outdoors, we'll spend some time exploring the quiet sidewalks of the neighborhoods or, if a longer journey is in the cards, we can bring our excursions deeper into the city and enjoy the sights and smells there and, most certainly, fit in some play-time as well. I'll keep you looped in on the day's activities with regular updates and pictures so that you know that, even though you're missed, your pet is being well-cared for and enjoying himself/herself.
