Pet care experience
I have previously owned my own dog-walking business, before taking another job. I am patient, loving and caring. Dogs of all sizes tend to quickly develop a rapport with me because I’m very easy going. I’m also responsible and punctual and luckily I have a support network of people who can get me anything I might need. I believe the main thing going for me is my easy-going and unassuming nature...I might not do too well with dogs that have behavioral issues since I’m not much of a disciplinarian! Maybe I need to learn to be more strict- some dogs may learn to take advantage of my good nature! Lol. I’ve never had any real bad experience with dogs though, so I’m happy about that

Mastiff and boxers will take a little longer for me to develop a rapport, but all other breeds I’ve had extremely good luck with. Varies by dog of course.
A typical day
Typically, I will take dogs to 1 of 3 dog parks: Roper, Oak Lake, or Holmes Lake. If the dog is very social but not very active or adventurous, Roper is great to meet other dogs. Oak Lake is the opposite, and better if they want to run around and not encounter other people or dogs. Holmes is good all around for everything. Otherwise, taking walks closer to home is good as well as playing fetch in the backyard, or keep-away, tug-of-war and hide & seek.
