Hi! My name is Cesia and I live on Wellesley Island with my husband. We are dog parents to a stormy German Shepherd, Lincoln (75 lbs.) Before adopting him in 2019, I’ve cared for family dogs my entire life! We have a large home with a couple empty bedrooms, so if it makes you and your pup more comfortable we can easily separate the dogs while your pup is visiting. Our dog loves to play, so if you’d like them to stay together I am very happy to moderate a play date. One note, we won’t let our dog play with guest dogs if we deem the dog too small and at risk of injury from normal canine play with larger dogs. If you opt for separation, Lincoln will chill in his bedroom while your pup and I hang out in the rest of the house between trips outside to our fenced “dog park”. Beyond that, we can go for walks or have all day play time in our private backyard. I’m also happy to take your pup on longer walks or for a jog on our property or along county route 100 a, a relatively quiet road with plenty of shoulder for safety. While I’m not a professional, teaching dogs simple tricks is a passion of mine and I would be happy to work with your dog on some basic commands while we enjoy our day. I can use my organic duck training treats, or you can bring yours over if you prefer. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about what your dogs stay would be like at my home.
