I’ve recently had to give away my both my dogs due to me constantly traveling and relocating. I raised my yorkie at two weeks by hand feeding her since she was being rejected by her parents. I trained both my dogs to use the pee pad, how to be walked on the leash, how to follow behind me when NOT on the leash, how to sit by the door when ready to go outside, how to bark when someone is too close to our home, how to sit and fetch, how to play well with other animals, how to go “home” to be crated and how to be gentle around kids. I treated my pets as if they were my children, because that’s what they were.
