Pet care experience
At 13 years old I became my neighborhoods pet sitter. These responsibilities included walking, feeding, grooming, bathing, etc. I have since moved away from my childhood neighborhood, but I never stopped chasing opportunities to provide the same kind of help to other families around me. These services are not only limited to dogs, but I have had over 5+ years of experience taking care of cats of all ages and smaller animals such as mice, rats, chinchillas, ferrets, and rabbits. If it's a new kind of friend that I haven't cared for yet, I would be more than thrilled to learn!

I do not have any dogs currently because I do not live somewhere with a fenced in backyard. I currently live on the second floor of an apartment and have cat proofed my balcony to allow my cats to spend time outside with us when we are outside. I ensure they are never outside alone and always keep an eye on them to make sure they are safe. I do the same when I am at a clients home. Safety is a #1 priority for me and I will do anything I can to make sure your furry friend is safe and loved!

Information that I like to know about your pet ahead of time includes your pets safety plan (emergency contacts, such as their veterinarian), your pets microchip information, as well as any pertinent health concerns. I would also like to know how they behave around other pets and children so I can make sure everyone is having fun and playing safe!
A typical day
I find that going on walks is one of the best ways to connect with my dogs and love to take them on “sniffing adventures.” I try to avoid taking the same walking route everyday and like to change it up or find new routes to keep it interesting for both of us!

Availability
My schedule is a bit all over the place currently. I am a full time nursing student very close to graduating (July 2022), and will be have more of an open availability to care for your furry family! Even with my schedule, making time throughout the day to spend time with my own cats is a priority for me every day. This includes cleaning their litter box twice a day, grooming them if necessary, and playing with them multiple times throughout the day! I accept same day appointments and will ensure we can get something worked out for you and your pets!
