My family (husband, daughter (16), son (13) and I LOVE animals and in addition to Bindi, our 9-year-old Golden and Crush, our 8-year-old orange tabby cat, we have been fostering dogs for the last 8 years. Fostering has brought immense joy to us and taught us how to care for all kinds of dogs and handle a variety of issues. Love, structure and exercise and then some more love can bring out the best in any dog!

She's also a seasoned volunteer foster for a rescue that saves dogs with complex needs including those surrendered by breeders or given up due to medical and behavioral issues. She and her family have helped many lucky dogs get settled and habituated before being placed with their forever families. Our dog has free range in our home which we are happy to extend to your dog. If your pet prefers a crate please just bring that for their stay. We have a fully fenced yard for your dog to run around.

A typical day
We love to hike with our dog or go to Twin Lakes or a dog park. A nice stroll around downtown Boulder is a daily activity.

Availability
My husband works from home full-time and I have a flexible schedule. Weather permitting we hike with our dog every weekend. If your dog is up for this we will hit the trails. If dog parks are more their speed we have plenty of options to choose from. Or if hanging out in our yard feels best we we'll go with that.
