I am an experienced sitter looking to open my home to the right pups for overnight or day-sitting. I grew up with a family that owned many dogs and cats and was raised by a parent who worked with animal control. I started volunteering at shelters in elementary school, growing up with dogs in home and shelter settings has made me comfortable and compassionate to all breeds and personalities. As an adult, I’ve been training dogs and puppies independently for over 8 years. Puppies not yet potty trained are welcome, basic training in German and English available. My house is located outside of the town of Corning with an isolated back yard. I am comfortable with special needs, large, nervous and high energy pets. Drop by visits welcome. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, long term and short term arrangements are available. It is best to contact me a few days before you need your pet watched, I do well with day of sitting when I am available. If you need your house watched overnight I need to bring my trained dog with me, I am her primary caretaker. There are a ton of great places to board your pets now that technology is able to connect pet owners with pet lovers, I can provide a quiet, calm home setting for people who would like to ensure that the care their dog gets while they’re away is tailored to the need of the dog and owner alike.
