Giving the Love They Deserve

Pet care experience

I have provided Doggy Daycare & Boarding services for Fun City Dogs in Minneapolis, Minnesota until I decided to move to Oregon. I have been trained in understanding canine body language, having developed emotional deescalation skills to deal with dogs of all different kinds of temperaments, from dogs with a nervous or shy disposition to high-energy or aggressive dogs of all different sizes with different medical needs. I'm accustomed to feeding a range of dogs at scheduled feeding times, distributing medications, as well as improving their hygiene (ex.; trimming toenails, putting in eye-drops, treating minor wounds), walking the dogs when needed and deescalating negative interactions between dogs. My availability is wide open, and I am willing to provide any special care that is needed, because I am extremely dedicated to the care and keeping of any kind of dog.

Although Celia was a very nice person, overall we were very disappointed in the care our dogs and house received during her stay. Several things in our home were left stained or permanently damaged, the house was left a mess (for example there was still pasta in a pan that she had put back in the cabinet). Despite the fact that we asked for regular updates, getting Celia to return our messages or calls was difficult and in two weeks we received 3 updates. Then when we returned home our neighbors told us they were concerned that she hadn’t been coming to the house regularly and that she had locked herself out of the house (which she didn’t tell us about at the time). Our neighbors also informed us that our puppy Logan had gotten out and Celia had to chase him through the neighborhood, which Celia also didn’t mention. Now Logan is a high energy puppy that can definitely be a handful at times but while staying with Celia it is clear that he was given no boundaries whatsoever as he has developed numerous bad habits that he didn’t have before. I do not intend to ever leave my dogs with Celia again and to be honest I think she is too inexperienced to be watching anything other than the calmest and easiest of dogs.

Celia is a extremly caring and thoughtful person. In the time I have gotten to know her she has proven to be very responsible, kind, and loving. She loves animals and i think she would be a great dog sitter. There is no doubt in my mind Celia would go above and beyond to make sure all of their needs are met. I am a dog owner myself and they are my life. I would 100% trust her with my babies.

I have an anxious dog who typically takes a long time to warm up to people. Celia is one of the only people who he liked right from the beginning. She is great with dogs and dogs love her.

You won’t find anyone else who’s better with dogs. She has loads of experience handling them. She is extremely good with dogs. Animals tend to gravitate towards her.
