Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Cedric and I just moved to Portland from Illinois where I pet sat on and off for about 10 years. In addition to my experience pet sitting, I have a cat of my own and live with a dog and a rabbit! I have experience with all aspects, extended-stay sitting, short-term sitting, drop-ins, walks, etc., and I would love to take care of your most special family member. Hope to hear from you soon! :-)

Cedric did an excellent job taking care of our two cats and two pet rats while we were out of town for the holidays.
Cedric did a great job taking care of our pets and house when we were traveling for the holidays. We could tell our two senior dogs and one senior cat were well taken care of and we appreciated receiving photos and updates. Our animals are all rescues and have some anxiety but warmed up to Cedric quickly. Our house was super clean and our pets were happy when we returned. We will definitely reach out to Cedric again in the future.
Cedric was on time, communicative, and left the house clean.

I ask that we do a meet and greet before your first booking, with the posibility of doing them before future bookings if need be. I prefer to meet in your home, where I will be caring for your pet so I can get an idea of the layout and your pet can be as relaxed as possible when we meet.

A typical day
That really depends on the animal! In our meet and greet, I will probably ask you what their favourite toys or activities are. I will pay close attention to your pet to make sure they are getting the attention they need.

I have a full time job that I work weekdays 8am-4:30pm in-person, so I’d be a good match for dogs whose owners work a similar schedule or cats! I am more than willing to make drop-ins and sitting jobs work around my schedule if there is some flexibility!
