Pet care experience
Hi :) I’m Cecilia, and I come from Italy! I've loved dogs my whole life, and finally adopted my own two years ago (she’s a rescue, I love you Missy!!!). I moved to the US as an au pair, and now I have another pup in my life (I love you Blaze, but don’t tell Missy ;) ). Missy is very reactive towards dogs, and people, so I’ve been in training with her with an educator to help her be more comfortable outside our home. Blaze is a much easier dog, but sometimes has his moments too. I am not a professional, but I had my fair share of experiences, and can’t wait for more adventures with new furry friends!!! (In the pics, Missy is the tan hound dog, and Blaze is the black and white big guy!)

Cecilia was great.. she was patient with my pup who takes some time to warm up to new people and kept me informed about my dog on my trip. Will be booking her again!
Cecelia is a great communicator who went above and beyond to make our sure our pets were comfortable while we were away. I highly recommend her and plan to sue her again in the future
We LOVE Cecilia! She’s super responsive while booking and during the stay. Super friendly and the pets all love her. My only hesitation in leaving a good review is that she will get booked up. I cannot reckoned her enough!

After seeing the house for the first time, I’ll be sure to see where the doggies/kitties are comfortable staying and/or allowed to. I know that sometimes strangers at home might not be super welcome, so I want to make sure the pups are comfortable having me around and like me.

Let me know if the dog has some behavioral or health issue I should know about, if he’s friendly with dogs and people, or any kind of reactivity.
A typical day
I love to go to Rock Creek to hike, and normally the doggies love it! The dog park is also a great option, to release some of that off leash energy, and find new friends to play with, because also socializing is important! I love to play how the dog prefers: some like fetch, some like to be chased, some like to have something hidden for them and then go search for it.

Availability
I am an au pair taking care of two kids in Northwest DC, but they are in school all day, so in the mornings and at night I have time for walkies and home visits for doggies of any kind, and kitties! During the weekend, and holidays I’m available for home visits, or stay in your home too!
