I'll start with the positive. Cecilia was very nice, responsive and seemingly responsible person who clearly loves dogs and other animals. She was considerate and left a thank you note after her stay. She also acted on feedback when we had problems, and was pleasant to work with. We had Cecelia house sit and stay with our two dogs for a long weekend, and unfortunately we cannot recommend her for this. Perhaps she would do fine pet sitting in her own home, but the task of house sitting and dog sitting combined seemed like it may have been too much. The short of it is that our dogs were left for long periods unattended (12+ hours- we have an alarm system so can see when doors open/ close), we had to call in our dog walker twice for help once to get the dogs out and again to let Cecilia in when she locked herself out, and we came back to multiple accidents (both poop and pee) when our dogs will very rarely have an accident if they are getting outside every ~4-8 hours. Our area rug was so soiled from the weekend that we have since had to replace it. Before our trip we had agreed with Cecelia that she would stay the night with the dogs, and we had offered our dog walker as an option if she needed to leave more than ~5-6 hours as we have dogs that need to get outside with that frequency. We have a 13 year old with a smaller bladder, and a young rescue who was crate training. She stated she was on spring break and would be with them most of the time, so this would not be necessary. Unfortunately she did not fulfill this commitment, and after finding out ourselves through the alarm that the dogs were left alone over night for 12+ hours we sent our dog walker over to get them out & feed them breakfast. Again, maybe Cecilia would do better pet sitting in her own home, but we would not hire her again to watch our pups.

Cecilia was great. She's super friendly and Fritz didn't want her to leave. We totally recommend her!
