Pet care experience
I have a love for all types of canines! I have been sitting and watching dogs since I was 10 years old and love every minute of it, even cleaning up the messes!:) Some of the breeds I have experience with are Schnauzers, Labs, German Shepherds, Australian Shepherds, Shitzus, Great Danes and Beagles from babies to elders. In high school I was an athlete and and currently make physical fitness a priority, so your dogs will get a great workout with me, whether you prefer a walk or throwing around a toy. At my parents home in Pittsburgh I have a 5 year old miniature schnauzer that I trained from when he was a few months old! My puppy exposure is fresh if you are nervous finding care for your young one. I also have experience with a sick dog and needing to administer medication. I just graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and work for AEO full time! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I need some furry smiles throughout the day and would love to help doggies that aren't always able to have their owners around! I do have meetings throughout the day that I cannot miss, so if you need me to drop in at a certain time, I can look at my schedule and see what I can do! I do not have a car so I would be walking your dog/s around where you live. If there is a specific spot you find your dog is more comfortable please let me know and I will be happy to take them there.

My home has a flight of stairs, so if able to, your dog is more than welcome to work with me in my room and hang with my roommates. If your dogs is unable to go up stairs and have a living room, dining room and kitchen that we can work out of and play in as well. I am very strong so if you have a larger dog that can be a lot for playing or walking I am equipped to handle the strain.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs that I will need to account for. I live with 2 other roommates with dog experience as well, so if they are comfortable with other adults that is required. I don't have any children in our home, but we do have them on our street, so if they aren't comfortable being pet or approached by a child I would like to know that as well. We do have Christmas decorations in our home, so if your dog has an affinity to chew wires, etc, please let me know before hand!
A typical day
I would 100% start our day off with a nice walk around squirrel hill to get our day started around 6:30-7am. I want to give them time to use the bathroom in the morning and release their morning zoomies. I usually have meetings until around 10:30am-11:30am. After my first set of morning work I like to walk and grab a coffee I would love for them to come and get a pup cup if allowed :) As we wrap of the remainder of the day I will usually sit at my desk and throw a toy while I work and or cuddle if I don't have any meetings!

Availability
I get up early for work! Around 7 am, however I have experience with dogs that need to be out by 5am to use the restroom. I work from home until 3-5, with meetings on and off. If I can I like to take 2-3 walks per day and would love a fuzzy buddy to join me. I have a large room where I sit and work that allows your pet to sit on my lap if they wish, or on a dog bed right by my feet. We have a front yard that your dog can relieve themselves in while I have them on a leash.
