Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Cayce and I recently moved back to my hometown of Fresno after 7 combined years living in Chicago and Houston. I work in HR and I work from home, I have done Rover in the past when I lived in Chicago and really enjoyed it. It's fun for me, but also my dog just loves having other pups to play and hang with. My Background: In Houston I volunteered as a foster parent for Operations Pets Alive and have provided a temporary home to all types of dogs - from large litters of bottle feeding puppies to tear-your-house-apart energizer bunny dogs to unfortunately very sick dogs that need lots of love and care. I have loved them all and was able to find them all very loving forever homes! That being said, size, energy level, behavior challenges, multiple dogs or even multiple cats for that matter are no problem! I've gone through lots of dog training courses and believe in positive reinforcement both with group and private trainers. My Household: Currently, I have a medium sized lab mix adopted from an animal rescue in Houston in 2015. I also have two indoor cats. All three are best friends and are friendly with other animals that I watch and care for. If your dog is not comfortable around cats or does not have experience with them, I can introduce them slowly and if they end up not being good with cats my house is laid out in a way that I can keep them separated so everyone is happy. If your dog is not good with other animals at all, our house probably isn't a good fit for them. House/Yard: My house has a decent sized fenced-in backyard and plenty of space to spend their time both inside and out. We do have a pool in the backyard, if your dog is not a swimmer let me know ahead of time so I can be sure they are safe around the pool area. In addition to playing and running around at the house, we will also go on walks, throw a ball in the backyard, give lots of love and attention, feed and care for them, and follow any special instructions you need! Cayce did a fantastic job taking care of our 4-month-old pup! We were nervous about leaving our baby for 4 days for the first time; what eased our worries is knowing that she has lots of experience with different dogs of diverse ages, kinds and temperaments. She even trained our pup because she was committed to staying consistent with her routine! She also has a fenced-in backyard that dogs can enjoy, and her own dog Mikka is the sweetest, friendliest dog. Cayce made sure to send us pictures and videos everyday, and clearly empathizes with dog parents who are anxious about leaving their dog while on vacation. When our flight got cancelled, she graciously and happily extended our puppy’s stay. The most important part: our puppy was happy socializing and made new friends! We couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of our pup. Cayce is the best!! Thanks for all you did, you are our go-to for dog boarding from now on :)

I am a lover of the outdoors and enjoy hiking, biking, jogging and spending time at parks. My dog and I go to the dog parks around our house about 4 times a week. We live in a suburban area and have a decent sized fenced in back yard. The neighborhood is very safe and people are always out running and walking with their dogs.
