Being a pet owner myself I believe it takes Openness and patience. Love too....lots of love. I genuinely have a love for Animals. Animals can't talk so you have to be observant of there tells...things they do to communicate. I love cats and dogs. I enjoy the outdoors.... walking and exercising. So engaging will not be a problem at all. Match their energy. Whether it's high .....I don't mind a run....or mild....I like relaxing as well and my belly rubbed lol. We can relate ( pets). One thing that's most important to me whether it's a pet or a persons belongings is to treat it with respect. The same respect I would want someone to treat the things and or pets I love and adore.
