Hi everyone! My name is Catie and I am a HUGE animal lover! I grew up in an animal-loving home and my family generally had three dogs at any given time. I currently have a corgi that is 14 years old and I have raised him since he was only 8 weeks old. I love him dearly--I actually saved up gift/holiday money for 4 years to get him when I was in 7th/8th grade, and I trained him and cared for him almost entirely on my own! I now also have two cats—Merlin (4 years) and Callie (1 year)—who I absolutely adore! Merlin is a Maine Coon mix and Callie is a crazy tortoise shell. They have brought a lot of goofiness (and perhaps chaos!), love, and cuddles to our home. I am great with training puppies (including potty training), will help you train your puppies with whatever training approach you have chosen, and I am very active. I therefore love to take dogs on walks or runs, long or short, depending on your (and your dog's) preference! If your dog prefers play-time, cuddle-time, or nap-time, I am also happy to play with or snuggle your pet instead! I am also prepared for any pets that have special preferences, medical complications, or dislikes. My corgi has a couple of medical issues at this point and requires a very particular diet and special care. I give him special prescribed foods, medications, and B12 injections for his health issues. He also needs to wear a diaper and I need to carry him up and down stairs due to back complications so can do that for your pet too if necessary. Additionally, I have a lot of experience with dogs that are not dog- or child- friendly (dogs of all sizes too). My own corgi is very aggressive with other pups, and I've sat for dogs up to 120 or so pounds that need to avoid other animals. I am therefore happy to work with dogs from all backgrounds! I love all dogs regardless of their preferences. =) Overall, I guarantee you that I will treat your dogs or cats (or other pets if you have them) as my own! I will also happily send you pictures and videos of your fur family while I pet-sit so you can be assured that your pet is getting the care it deserves. You're more likely to ask me to send fewer photos/videos/updates than to ask me to send more!
