My husband Mike and I have been fostering for the Idaho humane society for over ten years so we have a lot of experience with older dogs who need a quiet place to stay. We love having different dogs coming and going in our household since we both love all animals. We also do not presently have someone to walk with us in the evening since our chihuahuas do not enjoy the leash so that would be an added benefit to our lives. We are both experienced with giving pets their medicine and observing their body language. Mike and I also live close to an off leash dog park if that is what your dog needs on a daily basis. There are no off limit spaces in our house or yard and your dog will probably be sleeping on our bed with the rest of us! . We also have a doggie door so if your pet is used to one it makes it easy to get in and out. If he/she is not, we will let them out every few hours and watch them until they relieve themselves. Cats and dogs are welcome, the more the merrier! We own two Chihuahuas who get along with both dogs and cats. Mike works from home and will always be on site.
