I have cared for pets all my life and currently babysit smaller dogs (one at a time) in my home. I have three medium dogs of my own so your dog should enjoy the company of a pack. I have a fenced yard and the door to the yard is almost always open so they can come and go as they wish. I do ask that you bring your dog's crate with you so he can be fed there and be allowed to sleep there if he prefers, but he will NOT be locked in all day - he will be romping in the yard or snoozing on the couch or a cushion. I will also happily host your caged pet - have much experience with parrots, canaries, finches, rats, mice, rabbits, guinea pigs and other small pets. Dogs are $25 per night, other pets rates can be discussed depending on species and needs. Doggy Day Care also available. About this sitter: Former professional zookeeper and pet lover since I was old enough to turn over a rock and bring home a whatever creepy-crawlies I found under it, lol, I can care for anything from dogs to chickens to rabbits to hamsters to reptiles. I only allow one or two doggy clients at a time so pets get personalized attention. Can keep small caged critters and smaller dogs in my home, or come out and feed and manage your backyard chickens or livestock while you're away (price will depend on distance as well as pet{s}). There are no children in the home. Meet my pets I have 5-year old lab/basset and lab/doxie mixes under 35#. I also have a 4 year old blond mix saved from death row in the Barrow County shelter. My small farm has sheep and horses but I do not let the dogs into livestock areas, for everyone's safety. The dogs do enjoy watching and sometimes barking at the horses and sheep, from the safety of their fenced yard, though.
