With the exception of a few years, I've always had a dog. I have a lifetime of experience caring for my own and friends and family's dogs. Our house is a warm and friendly place with a big, fenced back yard. I provide compassionate and conscientious care to all animals under my responsibility. I'm a big fan of Cesar Milan (Cesar's Way) and incorporate his methods in my care for pets. I love to hike, walk, run, ski, so if your dog would enjoy getting some exercise on the trails in our area, I always appreciate a canine companion on my day activities! I am a true dog lover; I love learning their unique personalities. it is always a treat for our family to host a guest pet. As a parent and pet owner, I understand the worry that can be involved leaving a furry family member behind in an unknown place. I keep my clients informed with daily updates and photos. I am a stay-at-home mom to 3 school age boys. Between the boys and I, the Dogs who stay with us will have no shortage of potty breaks, affection, exercise and playtime! I'm generally home except for school pick-ups, drops offs, and errands. I'm available to take dogs out mid-day for daily walks etc. I have a large, fenced yard. The fence is waist-high (approx. 4 ft) so if you dog is a jumper, my place may not be a good fit. Our family pet is a sweet, 14-year-old, healthy and relatively active Beagle. She's easy going and gets along well with others. I can accommodate both crate trained, and non-crate trained dogs. When dogs stay with us, we treat them like family and of course adhere to any directions regarding health, potty times, crates, diet, best sleeping arrangements, etc.
