Reviews

Luna had a very fun stay with Cathy - lots of walks and variety! Very grateful to Cathy & her family for looking after Luna so attentively, would love to board her with them again.

We’ve had the absolute pleasure of alfie staying with Cathy, and we couldn’t be happier! From day one, her kindness and attentiveness have made all the difference. We always feel at ease knowing that Cathy sends thoughtful updates and adorable pictures after each walk. She truly go above and beyond to keep us in the loop. We would definitely recommend Cathy if you have to go away without your dog!

Cathy did a wonderful job looking after my dog. She went above and beyond to settle her and kept me up to date with lots of pictures.

So great!! Fabulous communication and from the pictures I’m pretty sure Ryder has a better time at Cathy’s house than mine 😊. Couldn’t be happier

We have a fully fenced garden and are close to lots of great parks like Marble Hill, Crane Park and the Thames towpath. I won’t let your dog off lead if you don’t want me to or can wait until I feel your dog trusts me enough to come back. In the house there is plenty of space for a crate if required and we all love cuddles on the sofa. Both dogs will sleep in the downstairs kitchen/diner.

Information Cathy J. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of any unusual habits or things your pet dislikes, eg travelling by car, fear of larger dogs etc. I would prefer to care for small-medium sized dogs (nothing bigger than a large cockapoo or spaniel) or my own dog might feel threatened. Your dog must be spayed or neutered and if a puppy must be toilet trained. Please make sure their worming/flea treatment is up to date.
A typical day
It will normally be an early morning walk to a park and an afternoon walk to a different park/area for variety. If the weather is too hot we will wait until the evening for our second walk.

I’m a full time mum, home full time while we are renovating our house in North Twickenham. Our own dog Bailey is a friendly cavapoo who just turned 5. We have two kids (11 and 13) who love being around dogs and enjoy coming on our walks whenever possible and playing with them. I always had a dog growing up and I think it’s one of the best gifts you can give your kids if they are old enough to be sensible around them. Before mine were ready, we met a wonderful dog via Borrow My Doggy who we saw once or twice a week for a couple of years and I often took him for walks in the day when the kids were at school as it was such a nice thing to do when we didn’t have our own. My kids got to learn how to treat a pet and what not to do to get on with them! When we got Bailey at the very start of Covid, it was fantastic and I will always be grateful that she kept us all sane! I would love a second dog but it’s a lot for when we are away ourselves. As I know how much doggy parents worry about their pets when they have to be away, I can promise to do my utmost to make sure that your dog is happy and that you are informed on how they are by sending daily updates and pictures.
