Pet care experience
As a fellow pet owner, I have a deep appreciation for the unique personalities of both cats and dogs and understand the importance of staying attuned to their needs. I am especially familiar with the level of attention and engagement that intelligent and high-energy dogs require, as my own dog is a mix of mostly herding and working breeds. I have experience with positive reinforcement training methods to manage both prey drive and leash reactivity as well as experience with puppy training and leash training.

Cathy took great care of Jupiter including play time and she also kept all of our plants alive during a brutal heat wave. I highly recommend her!
Very very good with our cats. They love her, too! Gives great updates with pictures of the food and the cats. We have used her twice now and she is our go-to person!!

A typical day
I like to take my dog on long walks (13 miles has been our longest walk to date!), teach new tricks and practice recall, and provide her with different enrichment activities including scent games, puzzle toys, snuffle mats, tug, and fetch. Since every dog is different, I'm happy to get creative and accommodate your dog's play style.

My schedule is flexible and I am currently available Sunday through Friday for drop-ins and dog walking. I do not offer daycare or boarding at this time.
