My first dog was a Boxer puppy at age 4. We lived in the Chicago suburbs with a few farms in the area. People would drop off strays near us and I always brought them home. Yep, we kept a few and found homes for others. We were surrounded with the love of so many creatures: squirrels and chipmunks would drink from our small pond. Animals are my saving grace: so much love with soulful eyes. Pure magic. Our oldest dog (Border Collie) is now 18. Heidi our orange tabby is 17. My animals are family, pure and simple. And I want to share my gift with your little creatures.
