Pet care experience
I spent 20 years caring for and loving my family of 14 dogs, mostly hound dogs. They taught me so much. I am patient and I speak dog. I am careful and I pay attention to the animal and am 100% invested in their well being. I am a certified dog trainer and although I have not used my training professionally it has given me a wealth of knowledge. I will love your dog (I know this in advance) and will do everything possible to keep him/her safe and happy.

Cathy is amazing. We have a rambunctious 2 year old dog and a shy 10 year old dog that Cathy looked after for us overnight and we could tell they were well taken care of by how calm and content they were when we came back home. We don’t leave often so we’re always concerned how they will do with dog sitters, but Cathy was a wonderful presence that made us all feel at ease. She asked detailed questions about care, feeding, and habits and was very considerate about staying over at our home. We feel so fortunate to have met Cathy and will definitely be in touch with her again! Thank you, Cathy!! ??
Cathy was great! She spoiled Duke - giving him belly rubs and brushing - and sending us pictures each day. This is our first time using a service to take care of our dog and would recommend it - especially Cathy.

I would like to know how the dog reacts around people, other dogs, other animals, thunder storms. Any behavior issues, any food allergies or sensitivities. Motivations - special treats, toys etc. Time schedule and sleeping preferences.
A typical day
All of our activities will depend on the needs of the dog. I will try to follow the dog's regular schedule as much as possible. We can take walks, play with toys, play games like hide n seek, or find the treat, and we can just hang out together for company.

I work part time teaching fitness classes in the area which means I am able to stop in at various times so that your furry friend won't be alone for extended periods.
