Hi! I LOVE being a Rover.com caregiver! I have many years of experience in dog sitting and boarding; for Rover and private customers and neighbors. I now have had more than 150 very satisfied Rover customers, boarding and caring for anywhere from an 8 pound Chihuahua to a 50 pound Golden Doodle to a 110 pound German Shepherd, and a 160 pound Great Dane and Bermese Mountain Dog, and every breed in between. And I absolutely love it! I have a great deal of experience with sitting for and boarding dogs, so your pup will be in great hands. This isn't just a chance for me to earn extra income, but as an animal lover its also a great opportunity for me to get to meet and spend time with lots of new furry friends! I have a very well trained, lovable 55 pound, 5 year old shepherd mix named Dakota that LOVES other dogs. He gets along with every dog that he has ever met (which is a lot :)). So your furry friend will not only have a warm, caring, loving, safe place to stay while you're gone, but they'll also have a new playmate to enjoy. Its just my husband and I, no kids in the house. We have a large fenced-in backyard so your pup can safely go outside to get fresh air and exercise. I also like to take my visiting dogs for walks for added exercise and together time. We have lots of doggie toys to share too. We are a very pet friendly home, so dogs go where we go and hang out where we hang out, unless you have different specific rules that you prefer us to follow. I promise I will give lots of caring time and attention to your dog. I also text LOTS of pictures of your pup throughout his/her visit with us, so that you can see that they are happy and doing well. I work nearby the house M-F, 9am - 5pm, but I come home at lunch everyday for an hour to walk the dogs and spend time with them, so on the weekdays your dog would not be alone for more than 3 hours at a time. Your pup will have lots of people-time all weekend too. I am very excited to meet you and your furry friend and offer him/her a wonderful second home with lots of love, attention and security.

My dog had an amazing time during his stay. She kept me up to date with daily checking. I can tell she truly loves animals and treated my dog like family. I couldn’t be happier and I will continue to board my dog with her.
We have boarded Nylah with Cathy many times now and as always we are happy how she keeps us updated with photos and notes and we had a worry free trip. We will continue to board Nylah with Cathy for our future trips.
Cathy took care of my fur baby so well. He’s generally a bit shy but he was very comfortable and I’ll definitely be bringing him back for more fun!!

A typical day
We walk all around our residential neighborhood. It's all sidewalks, and we stay on the slow side streets. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. We will play whatever sorts of games your dog enjoys. Mine loves tug of war and fetch, but we can cuddle with the best of them too. It depends on your dog's personality. We play indoors and outside in the fenced in back-yard.

Availability
I work Monday-Friday, sometimes from home, sometimes in office, but am home for an hour lunch, so your pup will never be alone for more than 3 hours. I'm home at nights after 5 and all day Saturday and sunday.
