Doggie Heaven at Valdemar Farm

We live on 10 acres minutes from Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins and DIA. My dogs spend time playing outside in 3 different yards. They also go for runs twice a day in a 2-acre field. When I'm in the house and not working, they can spend time in the house or outside as they wish.They all go down for naps in the late afternoon. After dinner, they come into the house to hang out while we watch TV. Some of the dogs nap in the dog beds, some in the crates and some hang out on the couch with us. I can only take medium size dogs or larger because my fencing for the larger part of the property isn't adequate to keep small dogs in. I do have cats, sheep, goats, ducks and chickens so the dogs have to be good around them. I find that the guest dogs settle in better if we have a meet and greet before the vacay.

Cathy was amazing. She was beyond flexible with my schedule, but most of all, she was a second mom to my pooch. It was my first time leaving my 9 month old lab, Lizzy, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place for her to stay. Cathy is kind and loving. I am so happy I found such an amazing place for Lizzy!
Cathy did a great job watching Juliet! She sent me pictures and videos of her every day which made me feel at ease. I always worry when I leave my dogs with anyone, so seeing pics of them having a good time makes me feel better. Juliet loves running around Cathy's field and having the company of her personal dogs. Juliet can be a bit of a handful and Cathy was able to manage her energy and naughtiness. I would definitely leave Juliet with Cathy again.
This was our first time leaving Olli with anyone, so we were a little nervous, especially because he's still a puppy (10 months). But he loved his stay at Cathy's. He had a lot of fun playing with the other dogs and running around in the yard, which he doesn't have that much of at home. Cathy was very easy to get in touch with and kept us informed of how Olli was doing daily. She sent pictures and videos, which I loved. We would use her again! Thanks for taking such good care of our little buddy!
My dog,Scarf, is always comfortable and happy to get to Cathy's. She is well treated and Cathy and her husband put up with some of Scarf's "goofiness"!
