I actually wanted to be a vet since I was a kid. My Grandma who raised me had a security dog who always stood by my right hand side protecting me. I started pet sitting when I was in college, when my neighbors would go on vacation and my friends would need an extra hand if family were visiting town. I would care for their dogs, cats, or fish. Personally, I have had many beloved pets growing up, including; 7 cats, 1 dogs, turtles, rabbits, fish, cockatiels, and a snake. Currently, I plan to purchase a German Shepard puppy next year once I get a bit more established.

Cathy is incredibly kind, patient, flexible, and caring!!! I ended up asking her to stop by for my cat twice as often as I booked her for, and she would always let me know when she planned to come over and gave great updates. It was her pictures and reports that prompted me to ask her to come more frequently, and it put my mind at ease while I was away. She was determined to give my cat the best experience possible while she watched her, always looping me in and keeping spirits light. I really can't recommend her enough!!!
Cathy spoiled my cat so much, that I think he likes her better than me now! I have a senior kitty with a lot medical needs, so Cathy had to give him two medications, two supplements, fed him special food, and inject him with subcutaneous fluids. She came over three times before we left so she could learn how to administer the fluids and get some practice. Then she went above and beyond, spending lots of extra cuddle time with my old kitty who just wants to be held all day, and she sent lots of pictures, so I could see how happy my little guy was. I'm so glad we found her!
Cathy was excellent. One of our cats requires a little extra dietary attention and Cathy was very accommodating.
Cathy was THE BEST sitter for my dog! She not only sent me pictures everyday of my pup while I was out of town, but also spent a lot of time making sure my dog was happy, including lots of walks, playtime, and pets.? Also due to flight cancellations, I was not able to get home when I thought, and she happily watched roxy for longer than planned, leaving me nothing to worry about! I recommend her 100%. ?

I don’t have any pets at the moment, but that will change eventually - in about a year I plan to invest in my own furry friend (most likely a dog) and my home is very much a huge empty space since I don’t have a yard and plan to invest in a more long term arrangement in a house so I don’t have furniture yet. I think this is more advantageous for looking after your pet as they’re going to have plenty of space to relax and include some play time if you have personal toys for them in my sitting.

Please let me know if your breed is of > 100 pounds as I am unable to house them overnight. Special K-9 are also not permitted for over night stay per apartments policy guidelines.
A typical day
Perks for your pet: Theres an open park 0.6 miles from me where many dog owners and lovers come to play and frolic. This will give plenty social time for your pup as well as metal stimulation. A veterinarian services hotspot in 0.1 miles and the best for last is that there is are plenty of forestry park and open space within 3 miles of my place.

Availability
I’m currently in a position where I create my own schedule so I’m free about 5 hours of the day. I prefer my mornings to myself (5am - 9am) but if at minimum 3/week - then I’m solid and all other hours are okay with me. I also would prefer to schedule on weekends just because I think it’s more fun but it doesn’t matter, it’s what best for your schedule too, I’m flexible!
