LIFE IS GOOD, fenced yard, walks
Pet care experience
I am retired from 30 years in healthcare; physical therapy and massage therapy. I have owned dogs all my life. Over the years, I have taken care of many of my friends small dogs and loved it. So, now that I have the space, I decided to take dogs in for doggie day care and boarding. My home has a very large completely fenced in backyard with lots of space for your dog to run and play. For those of you that have been loyal customers you know I lost tedi bear several years ago. In November of 2019, I brought home a new addition to my family. His name is blue, a very handsome 10 lb. bichon frise that is 11 months old now. He is the love of my life. He loves people and small dogs of all kinds. He has lots of puppy energy, very playful, happy, friendly dog who loves to cuddle and toss squeaky toys. I believe each dog should be treated as a member of the family. So my dog gets daily walks, grain free dog food, treats, lots of available water, lots of interactive play time, good sleep and plenty of LOVE AND AFFECTION. I will treat your dog as part of my extended family. *I WILL ONLY BE TAKING REPEAT CUSTOMER FOR NOW. Anyone who has every lost a 4 legged friend knows how hard it is when it is time for you to let them go. Tedibear was the love of my life and will always be a pat of me and in my heart forever. Love your Dog or Dogs unconditionally like they do you. Cathy
Reviews
Cathy is always a fabulous sitter! She is incredibly detailed and cares so much my dog whenever she watches her. My dog feels very "at home" with Cathy and her dog. We always enjoy the daily photos and updates and know my dog is happy and in wonderful hands with Cathy.
Peabo is always happy to stay with Cathy. She walks right in and assumes her usual spot on the couch. Cathy is wonderful!
Peabo loves staying with Cathy. It's her home away from home.
Thank you, Cathy, for another wonderful experience for our dog, Peabo. She loves staying with you!!

I have a lovely large completely fenced in backyard, lots of grass. I keep an eye on all dogs whether they are inside or out. Your dog has access to plenty or water, snack (either yours or mine), lots of toys, balls and several dog beds and blankets inside and out for relaxing after a fun day of ruff housing around.

Information Cathy A. would like to know about your pet
I prefer smaller breed dogs under 20 lbs, that are well socialized with other dogs and have a good temperament. If your dog has severe separation anxiety ( i.e.. meaning pulls down drapes, scratches doors and windows or is aggressive toward other animals or humans), then he or she would not be a good fit in this environment.
A typical day
I have a large fenced in backyard where your dog can run around with supervision at all times. I will play chuck-it with dogs that love to chase balls. Take daily walks of 30 minutes or longer (on leash) around the neighborhood, to the park or elk meadow open space which are both are about 4 blocks from my house. I average about 1-2.0 miles twice a day for dogs that require more activity. For older dogs, I have plenty of windows that they can look out of and lots of toys (mostly squeaky) for fun indoor interaction and a large backyard to run around in. When your dog is staying with blue and I, they are my priority for the length of their stay. I will be home for the first 24 hours of their stay so they can get comfortable in their temporary home. After the first day of there stay, I may leave them in the safety of my home with my dog for 1-2 hours so they can rest and I can get errands done. They will be HAPPY DOGS in a safe and secure environment.
