Looking to do something I truly love and enjoy. This summer I retired and relocated, but want to stay busy and productive. Pet/house sitting seems like the perfect opportunity for me.

When sitting for my best friend she gives me written details which I follow as her dogs require daily meds and have particular food requirements. It’s important to me that your pets keep the same schedule they normally have. If your pet sleeps with you then I am happy to have them sleep with me. I love to take them out for walks!! When sitting my priority is your pet. I stay 24/7 in your home with your pet. If I leave it would be for a meet and greet with a new client that cannot wait till the sit is finished or maybe some quick errand.

Please be sure to tell me any special needs your pets have. I chose "no" for giving injections only because I have never done it. I am open to giving injections, would just need some direction.

Pet care experience
Started pet/house sitting 10 years ago for my best friend. She and I have been friends for 40 plus years and she asked would I be interested in pet/ house sitting for her. I did it and had so much fun! She had at that time 1 cat and 2 dogs. She commented that she couldn’t even tell I had been there as her home was clean and tidy when she and her husband returned. Which was not the case with other people she had sit prior. My son has 2 dogs, a Husky and a rescue. The Husky is 15 years old, so very gentle with her and spoil her a little. She loves to go outside but since my son no longer has a fenced in backyard the dogs have to be on a leash. I tend to take them out a lot just to spend time outside. I apologize for the pics not having me in them. I do send pics of the pets to their owners while I’m sitting but generally don’t include myself. I will work on that! I’m not a social media fan, so generally don’t do lots of pics of myself.

Cathryn was an excellent sitter for our two dogs. She took very good care of them -- meals, treats and dog walking. There was plenty of snuggle time, too. She left an immaculate house. We will definitely ask Cathryn to sit for us again. Fortunate to have her! Thanks Cathryn!
Cathryn was wonderful. She kept my dogs separated as requested and left the house neat. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!
Cathryn was amazing. Gypsy hates being left at the doggie daycare places when we travel and it always puts a damper on our trip when we drop her off and she is so upset. Cathryn is the answer to our prayers. We did not worry one second while we were away. She sent pictures and communicated through the weekend. We will be using her from here on out! Not to mention the house was the same as we left it. I am a bit OCD and she kept the place spotless! Even washed the sheets and remade the bed.
Cathryn always goes above and beyond every time she sits for us! We are very thankful to have found someone we can trust with our dog and to stay in our home!
