Pet care experience
For the last 40 years I have taken care of dogs bred them, and even had horses on my property. My adult children often asked me to watch their bulldog and King Charles cavalier hours will go by and they will say my grandpa, please call my mommy on FaceTime so this is something we're comfortable with. Animals are pure joy and as a retired person I need to fill my day. I was a realtor as well for 20 years and offered. Ended up obtaining clients that way.

My 5yr old cavalier, Miss B, loves spending time with Cathie. From the tail wags at drop off to the loving smiles at pick up, I know Miss B had a good day! whether it be a ride in the car, a walk around the farm or snuggling watching TV miss B gets the attention she deserves!
You better have an iPhone Cathie is definitely willing to FaceTime five times a day to reassure you that her English bulldog is belly up and side-by-side your pooch
Cathie and TOM are exceptional dog sitters. They’ve watched my Brooklyn mutt for years. They’ll definitely treat them like it’s their own so you’re in good hands and good paws.

Do a quick walk-through of the home make sure I understand where their food and leashes are and their needs. Notes and videos are always helpful. As for when they're at our house we're happy to provide pictures and videos and even FaceTime's. Will make sure they get scheduled walks potty breaks treats baths if necessary and nail clippings per your request, I am also capable to administer medication for over 10 years. I watched a dog weekly in my home that had diabetes and I administered his insulin. I am well-versed in puppies and pregnancies. Should your dog me that additional care or cat. I was an avid user of Ringwood vet in New Jersey for over 40 years and highly trust them as a recommendation. We have a family friend who is a vet in Ringwood as well who could be of good use in the event of an emergency. I can also provide recommendations from animal control in Bloomingdale New Jersey upon request.

As much information as you can give me into insight into your four-legged friend I'll be happy to carry on those requests. Any tricks or tips to making them eat? Are they a self feeder? How do they do on the leash? Do they prefer a harness what tricks do you used to provide them their medicine are they allergic to anything? Do you want them to have table scraps?
A typical day
I'm happy to walk your dog around the neighborhood, put them on a long leash and take them on a hike as well as drive them around the block. Personally, my little dog loves to go in the car and in the shopping cart will take all recommendations to whatever will make them happy.

Availability
I am currently retired and living both Blairstown ny in East Hampton New York. My husband and I have been taken care of dogs our whole lives. We are retired looking to make new friends, learn our new neighborhood and have vacation money readily available to help in anyway with your house as my husband is a retired engineer and handyman. We currently have an English bulldog who is eight years old in our home, I was a breeder of Britney's for over 20 years. We are fit avid walkers, have dog run in our backyard and are more than happy to welcome your dog in our home and make them feel part of our family. See in our pictures are East Hampton house has a pool, but it's gated. We're happy to drive your dog around the block so that they get a lot of fresh air as well or even transport them to your other house if need be for additional fee.
