Pet care experience
I’m a very COVID respectful medical professional/single mom with a huge heart for dogs and experience at ranches and my own pets. Let me love yours! Over 15 years experience with professional care, but 30+ with my own dogs. Majored in animal science in college with neuro-psych doctorate. We walk our dogs daily either short potty walks or dog beach/parks or space. I’ll bathe, clip nails, and brush. I don’t have a “yard” I have a patio fenced and a huge park next door

I really felt comfortable with Catherine because of her medical background. Not that my dogs were ill, but that she watched them with a different set of skills. The dogs seemed so happy and loving. Our home consists of: Mom (Me), My 13 year old daughter (surfer/la crosse), one 30lb husky x ?. We live in a tiny house 2 blocks from the beach in leucadia and the house is full of love. I go to the beach daily with our dogs and go for long walks all the time on-leash to Grover Beach, Shell Beach, the dunes (where allowed). I drive almost daily to dog beach and/or the Open Space for hikes. Our dogs love other animals and are chill. I need potty trained animals though in our house (unless preemie, puppy, or senior). I really don’t want a pup that marks though. We sit in the floor a lot - because we don’t have pets on the couch, but a side chair, beds, etc can work. One of our dogs is on a bed, the other likes to sleep in the floor or a crate. I get up at 3am to take pups out and we take them out multiple times a day. They also have free access to go out during the day We only feed dry dog food, but will do anything for your babes.

Fixed, marking of space, how they get along with other dogs (size, age, breed), any training needs, any special needs. I’m not very comfortable with Doberman Pincers, chows, old cocker spaniels, stafforshire terriers (Spuds McKenzie dogs I believe), or Rottweilers. Pitt bulls on a case by case. I love huge dogs and tiny dogs and medium dogs.
A typical day
Snuggles, walks to the beach, walk to the local dog park area, drive to The dog park Lots of toys, love, affirmation and structure. Chewy toys and chewy bones if you want. We are also a very mellow household. No fighting, drinking, smoking, drama. Just so you know. Lol

Availability
I work from home full time unrestricted schedule with total freedom. Sometimes (rarely though) I go away for the weekend to go camping and site seeing with my daughter in our camper. Your babies are welcome to come. They will hike and smell fresh air. If traveling together, I like to give them a safety harness so they are secure and safe in the car.
