I am retired, so I have lots of time to spend with my dog and yours! We also understand that you may still be working. Do you have a long day trip planned or need some time away? We'd love to help with your busy schedule by allowing flexible drop-offs and late pickups. I have had dogs since I was a kid - everything from German Shepherds to my current Lhasa Apso, who would love to have your small dog as a playmate for the day or the week! My Lhasa and I are very active and like to get out every day (weather permitting) for a hike, a visit to a dog park, or a walk in a park or around the neighborhood. Our typical neighborhood walks are an hour; our typical hikes are 1-2 hours. We would love to have your active dog join us for some fun! If your dog would rather stay home and nap, that's ok too. Note: for the safety of all the dogs, we will only take 2 other dogs at a time. If it is important that your dog be the only dog (in addition to my own) please let us know and we may be able to accommodate that. My house is well-equipped for small dogs. We are not able to take in large dogs. During your dog's stay, we will have a fun and active routine. We will have breakfast and play time around the house in the morning. We like to get out for a walk in the neighborhood, a park or a trail each day. Then we all hang out in the evenings, before cozying up in the bedroom for a good night's rest. I treat my dog like she's my best little friend, and we will treat your dog like our new best friend!
