Pet care experience
Pets are part of our family. Unfortunately it's not always possible to take them with us everywhere. That's where I come in! I offer pet sitting and boarding in my South Tampa home. I have a huge fenced in yard and I am less than a mile from a dog park. I have a 9-year-old little boy, 2 cats, and a German Shepherd that is wonderful with all animals. There is a requirement that your animal must be good with both children, and cats. If your dog has issue with other dogs, my dog can go stay with my parents. Please let me know everything about your dog or cat, so I'll know what they need to be happy and comfortable. I have had dogs most of my life and I am fluent in dog. I am very comfortable around all breeds and sizes; from tiny Yorkies, to horse-size Mastiffs, and all ages; puppies to elderly.

Lady had such a good time with Catherine, her son, and their dog Bella!! Pictures and updates everyday certainly made it easier to be away from her. If I need to go out of town again, we will be back!!
We reached out to Catherine in a pinch and she was extremely helpful and so great with Tango. He was a recently adopted dog with separation anxiety. I was more nervous then him. Catherine’s dog Bella is the sweetest and I loved how she helped to calm Tango. We would recommend Catherine and use her in the future. She was responsive and reassuring. You can tell she loves her animals and the ones she dogsits.
This is our second time with Catherine. We can tell Buster likes her. We will be back.
Best Rover experience thus far. Our dog Buster is special needs dog, he is a heavily needy pup, due to separation anxiety. Buster normally sprints out of daycares to the car and complains for an hour...Catherine understood and care for Buster...and he came back to her when we picked him up! Catherine was great and we will absolutely go back to her next time. Thanks Catherine, Buster looks foward for another visit.

I am very safety conscious. I only accept one household at a time for boarding in my house. I never leave dogs unattended in the backyard. Any time your pets go outside, they will have their leash on. I am walking distance from Gasden dog park and minutes away from Picnic Island dog beach. If mom and dad say it’s ok, we could go play there for a few hours. Your dog just might have a better time than you on your vacation! If I am sitting your pet’s in your home. I will follow all instructions left.

All dogs have to be good with children, cats ,and other dogs if I am sitting in my home. Please let me know your pet’s quirks, likes, and dislikes. Their are a few items you can bring that will make your dog more comfortable: -A crate if they use one. Some dogs get stressed because they feel they have to be aware of too much (front door, back door, etc). When they are in a crate, they don’t have to worry about what’s outside. They can relax. -A blanket (or shirt) that smells like you. Dogs are very sensitive to smells. I’ll put the blanket (or shirt) in their bed when they sleep so they’ll feel more at home. -Their bed. If they’re used to sleeping in one, please bring it. -A couple of their favorite toys. -Their food.
A typical day
I live a half mile away from a dog park! I am in a very dog friendly neighborhood with lots of sidewalks for walks. I have a big fenced in back yard with plenty of room to play fetch, tug of war, or to just get those zoomies out!

Availability
I currently work from home. Your pups will not be left alone. If I have an outing planned that will have me out of the house for more then a couple hours, I will let you know before we book. I am available for drop-in visits and walks just about anytime. I will work around you and your pet’s schedule.
