I have cared for 2 separate pup families on Rover. I do sit for my friends dogs. have had several dogs in my family since I was a child and I am with my second dog Ziggy as an adult. My dog is a little guy of the Havanese bread he is a shy, sweet rescue dog. He never bites. He only barks or whines for me to pick him up. I prefer to sit for small dogs that weigh no more than 22 lbs. The fence in the back yard is a perfect size for a small dog. But we have almost an acre to walk dogs also. We have several bird houses on the property because we love birds too. Sometimes we see a rabbit or a wood chuck as well. I would only walk your dog on a leash. Your dog will have lots of fresh country air with lots of country smells to keep them aroused and curious. There will be lots of outside fun, petting, attention, conversation and toy throwing. We have a small pool that we all can sit in or just take a quick dip, if the day is real hot. My dog has had all his shots and yours should also.
