I have over 12 years of experience caring for dogs. Growing up, I had a yellow lab mix. My family members (whose dogs I often care for) have 3 mixed breed dogs (ages 11, 9, and 6). I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds! I don't just stop in to let your dog out and continue on my way. I spend time with your pup and give your sweet companion the attention he/she deserves! Walks around the block, playing with toys, frisbee, catch, you name it! If your pup enjoys it, I'll take the time to do it. My dog is a creature of habit, so I know firsthand the importance of a daily routine. I will strive to help with your dog's routine while you're away. I hope you will consider me for the job.

Catherine was SO wonderful with our sassy little dog, who has a bit of a history of not being the easiest to please. This was the first time we had left her overnight and for such a long time with someone outside of our immediate family, and Catherine was amazing! She is a great communicator and kept us constantly updated with photos, and took excellent care of our pup and our home. We truly couldn’t love and appreciate Catherine more!
Catherine is friendly and is so great with our rescue! He is, as we put it, Special Needs, due to being abandoned as a puppy and also to genetics (part Catahloula). He loves her and took to her from Day 1. Highly recommend Catherine!

I am home full-time when your pets are in my care. I live in a two-story townhome with a fenced in patio. Your dog will be walked regularly while in my care. There is also a local dog park in walking distance if your dog is social and enjoys that setting. Please note: I will not take a dog to the dog park unless instructed to do so by the owner.

I truly am comfortable with all breeds. I do like to know if your dog has any temperament issues or quirks so I can be sure to provide the best care possible for them. And do not fear... I can handle quirks.
A typical day
If I have the opportunity to care for your pup, my goal would be to keep them in their routine as much as possible. I am always willing to go for a walk around the block, facilitate play with the toys they bring, etc. If your dog likes to snuggle and chill, there’s plenty of time for that too! Dogs are welcome on furniture in my home (including the bed). If your dog is not allowed on furniture at your home and you'd prefer your dog remain off furniture during their stay, please notify me ahead of time.

Availability
I am home to pet sit full-time on weekends (Friday-Sunday). I may be available for bookings Monday-Thursday on a case by case basis. Due to the nature of my full-time job, I am not available as frequently for potty breaks Mon-Thurs. This set up will likely only work for certain dogs & their owners so I do not offer it for general booking. Please inquire if you need care during those days (Mon-Thurs).
