Greetings!!! I have a plenthora of experience with animals. I worked at a veterinary clinic for 2 years as a veterinary technician assistant, and I have pet sat for numerous family and friends since I was around 8 years old. I also have had 5 dogs, 5 cats, 2 horses, 100+ chickens, and a donkey over the course of my life. I am more than capable of administering medications, taking dogs on walks, giving lots of pets and affection for both cats and dogs, and making them feel safe in their own homes. I have an abundance of patience, I have never expressed anger at any animals that I currently own or have owned in the past. I love all cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes and I am more than happy to do whatever it takes to make them feel loved and happy while their owners are away!

Cathrine took amazing care of our dog and cat while we were away for several days. Our dog has a little bit of separation anxiety so it was incredible to know she was getting to spend time with someone loving, gentle, and always down for a snuggle.
She helped me out immensely after my usual sitter backed out last minute. Did a great job caring for my dogs!!

Information Catherine R. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if they have any preferences of what they do not like, for example if a dog is not fond of belly rubs. Additionally, any special medication or routine that the dog is used to would be useful to know ahead of time. As far as breeds, I believe that any dog is capable of being well behaved regardless of breed and I do not believe in any negative stereotypes surrounding particular breeds. So knowing the breed ahead of time is not a priority. However, I would like to know if your dog is prone to any aggression towards other dogs, children, or anything we may encounter during our time together.
A typical day
My typical day with dogs and cats involves playtime, exercise, feeding, and any additional services they may need. If it is at the owner’s house, they will be walked wherever there is a nearby park or if they prefer to be walked around their own neighborhood. I am also more than happy to throw frisbees, balls, and all sorts of toys for them to fetch. For cats, I would gladly play with whatever toys they own including laser pointers, feathers, and toy mice. I will also gladly provide treats if they are allowed.

I’m currently going to school, but during the holidays and breaks I live on SSI and I am completely free to take care of your animals then! If I am in Columbia, I am able to walk/house sit/drop in on your animals around my school schedule as it is very flexible!
