Catherine was great! I had to book at very short notice due to a family emergency and she saved my bacon. Wookiee seemed to have a great time at her house playing with her dog, and came home exhausted lol The videos and pictures were much appreciated and fun to watch. Thank you very much for everything, you helped make my unexpected trip a lot less stressful. Wookiee says hi!

We chose to book with Catherine specifically because her rover profile stated that she is home most of the time and one of our two beagles has some anxiety, usually triggered by storms. This was really important to us because our dogs are used to having someone home most of the time as I work from home and we would be gone for a week. I relayed this information to Catherine in our first messages and we requested a meet and greet just to make sure it would be a good fit. She didn't mention how often (or not) she would be coming and going while she was sitting our dogs, so we didn't know it would be an issue. While on our honeymoon, starting on their first day, we received messages from Catherine saying she was going to be leaving the girls alone for a few hours. This wouldn’t have been a big deal, except this repeated for the next 2-3 days, several times a day. This may not be an issue for other dogs, but per Catherine, our anxious dog was displaying more anxiety than usual (despite no storms). When we reached out to discuss our concerns that her coming and goings may have been contributing to the anxiety, Catherine tried to reassure us that we had misunderstood how much she was leaving. We accepted her response and I even apologized for the misunderstanding. On the final day of our trip, after letting her know we would be picking them up at 11am the next morning, Catherine told us that she wouldn’t be available until 1pm due to a last minute appointment. When we expressed concern that our dogs would again be alone for several hours while she was out, even though we were able to pick them up, she became incredibly nasty and sent several long rude and unprofessional texts. She claimed that because we requested potty breaks every 4 hours or so, she was only required to be present for those potty breaks. This is ridiculous, we would have had someone come to our house every 4 hours if we didn’t think they needed someone to spend time with. What would be the point of boarding? She also repeatedly stated that because she charges less than competitors, we should be happy with the care she was providing. She literally accused us of creating issues just so we could get a refund or get out of giving her a tip. Absolutely uncalled for. This all culminated when we picked up our dogs and she began yelling at us and shouted at us that we are horrible people… We have never had such an unprofessional and disturbing experience. She ruined a really special trip for us and we do not recommend booking with this sitter.
