I adore all breeds and all dogs! I am used to dealing with older and more high maintenance dogs when I dogsit for family and friends. However my family has a little teacup schnauzer pup and my roommate has a year old husky, so I am also very familiar with overly hyper dogs! I would like to know before dog sitting him or her whether they get along well with kids and other dogs, if they have any health problems... especially related to physical activity so I know what they can handle if we did an activity or if they should even go on an activity at all. I would also like to know if they are potty trained or have any ticks that could set them off.. (for example my roommates husky absolutely hates it if someone tries to grab something from inside his kennel when he is in it.) Pretty much I just want to know if your pup has any health/diet concerns and whether you feel comfortable letting me take him or her out on activities and how they act towards other animals :)

My apartment complex is right on the San Marcos river and there are multiple trails that I could take your dog on and also shallow areas that I could let them swim in if that is something you wouldn't mind! I also enjoy walking around Purgatory and would love to be able to even take your pup to Austin with me and walk/run on the Lady Bird Lake trail. If your dog gets along well with other pups I would also love to get to take them to a Dog park! Not to mention I am a coffee addict so if you are okay with it, I would possibly give your dog a little puppuccino treat and even snap an adorable pic for you to post! (dog + starbuck = guaranteed social media likes). I also work at Texas Ski Ranch, which is a very dog oriented facility. So as long as you are okay with it and need your pup to be watched for the day I could bring him/her with me to work where they could play with other dogs, socialize with people all day, and go on walks or swim in our lake (on a leash of course). :-)
