Pet care experience
I have experience caring for dogs of all types for over 15 years - including dogs with special needs, special diets, or lots and lots of energy! Though I now work from home, I was a vet assistant in town for a few years, so I am comfortable with dogs that need a bit more care than others. My own two dogs (mixed herding breeds) have lots of energy, so I am used to running/jogging/taking ridiculously long walks when a four-legged friend has extra energy to burn. I always am sure to use a dogs normal commands (provided you let me know ahead of time). It is important to me to make sure a dog know that they are loved and cared for even when their family is not around.

We can go around the neighborhood, or for the more adventurous dog, onto Rivanna Trail or out into the woods! Swimming, playing with a ball, or just lots of belly rubs :)
