Pet care experience
I have pet-sat for my friends and family’s dogs and cats of all ages (and chickens!) for 10 years. I have helped raise and train my family dog as well as taken care of elderly dogs. I love all pets, big and small!

We highly recommend Catherine! This was our first experience utilizing a pet sitter and the Rover App and she exceeded our expectations! She is kind, friendly and very personable. She went over and beyond what we asked of her and we can honestly say we did not worry once while on vacation. We received updated pictures throughout our trip, and we could tell Fuzz was enjoying her company and the care she was receiving! We are looking forward to going on vacation in July and plan to book Catherine again!
I have known Catherine since she was an infant, and trust her with my fur and non-fur babies. Catherine has house/pet sat for my family for years. We also have a small farm so house sitting for us means cats, dog, and chickens/turkeys.

I can easily follow whatever routine you have in place in your home. My goal is to keep your pet calm, happy, and loved while you are away so they don’t even realize you’re gone. Hopefully when I come over to pet-sit again they think of me as Aunt Catherine who’s coming for a long play date!

Let me know if your dog has any social anxieties, it’s common for dogs to be nervous around people, especially new people. I love to know their temperament before meeting them for the first time, that helps me to know what approach I should take when meeting them.
A typical day
I love to take long walks and let your dog sniff everything. I rotate walking paths every day so we get new smells and new things to find, never boring! I love to go to dog parks on the weekends with a few toys so we can play fetch or no give-backs!

Availability
I work full-time at Dartmouth College with a flexible schedule. I can check on your pup or kitty during the day, leave later in the morning, or early in the evening depending on your animals’ needs. Weekends are free for walks and going to dog-friendly parks or sitting and cuddling with the kitties.
