Safety first, loving care, never left alone, large-fenced yard. My husband Nelson and I are retired and lifelong animal and nature lovers. While growing up (in France) and until my early twenties, I was one of the primary caretakers in a home with as many as 5 dogs at once. My reputation of having a special connection with domestic animals was established at an early age. Nelson had dogs and other pets in his life as well. Family and friends trusted us to care for their family pet members. Dog boarding on Rover since 2017. In our care, dogs are never left alone, are in a peaceful environment and get all the attention and love they deserve. We understand that every dog's personality and needs are different and we adapt our care accordingly. No matter what, there is always a big supply of attention, interaction, cuddles and unconditional love for all. We love them and equally important they love us too. We love taking our dog to Catherine. She is very professional and I never have to worry!
Catherine was the absolute best. We hadn’t left our dogs with anyone outside of family in years but she made us so comfortable during our meet and greet! She was super responsive, always sent pictures and updates, and (most importantly) kept our older pups happy and safe. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with her!
Catherine was amazing with my guy Nico..! she kept me up to date with daily photos of his activities and play. Her attention to his needs was fantastic and even gave me notes when I picked him up on his behavior and anything that seemed out of the ordinary. I would absolutely call on Catherine and Nelson again for any help with Nico. He seemed to love his time with them and the variety of other house guests (other pups)…!
Catherine was wonderful! She kept us updated on how Billy was doing and adjusted to all of his special needs. They have a wonderful space designed for dogs. Would recommend to everyone!

***Low energy level dogs are a good match for us*** We cannot accommodate dogs with too much energy or dogs that require lots of exercise. Safety is important to us. Dogs in our care must be friendly towards other dogs and people. Please have your dog's profile completed on Rover before contacting us. --- Any behavioral issues or special quirks that we should know about? --- Behavior around other dogs and on the leash? --- Separation anxiety? --- Any food allergies? --- Medications, special needs? Please have your dog up to date on their vaccines, flea and heartworm medicines.
A typical day
1-2 walks/day depending on health/weather. Play if they feel like to, with us and/or other doggy clients present if any. Backyard sniffing/wandering if dogs prefer. Free roaming inside the house. Nap, lounge or sleep on bed/furniture/blankets. In the evening we all cuddle in front of a book or laptop. Dogs can bring their own bed or crate if they are used to one. ---We don't go to dog parks, run with dogs or let them off leash (except in our backyard of course)---
